Its the first phone to have Helium p70.

U1 is similar to Realme2 Pro. It is matt finished. Edges are rounded but they don’t blend as the display is raised. The bottom has the speaker. The display is IPS panel with 6.3 inch resulting vivid images.

Corning Gorilla glass is used though it’s older. The notch is water drop like Oppo F9 pro. You can hide it though.

The notch has a single camera, earpiece, and other sensors. The dual camera doesn’t seem out of place.

The fingerprint sensor is highly sensitive along with face unlock.

The Helium P70 is faster than the previous p60. And this results in 13% faster processing of data.

There are two variants

one is 4GB RAM with 64 GB storage

and the other is 3GB of RAM and 32 GB storage

The good thing is that they have eliminated the two-step notification dismissal. Now you can do with just one gesture.

They have a software called smart scan. All you have to do is take a document’s picture and it gets converted to an editable text. This software also supports Hindi.

We played the asphalt 8 legend and didn’t face even a single lag. PubG was also a breeze. However, it gets heated with regular gaming. Again this is common and expected.

The front camera is 25 MP. The beauty mode smoothes your skin beautifully. Portrait mode is excellent. However, the camera failed to capture clear shots in low lights.

The rear camera is 13 MP. HDR works okay. The vivid mode creates pictures which are lively and colorful. There is 1080p video recording. Unfortunately, there is no 4k recording.

The battery lasts a full day. It is 3500 mAH. We watched video non-stop and the battery stood for 14 hours.

Price of RealMe U1 with 3GB and 32 GB storage starts at 11,999 Only.

This is affordable considering the price range, not to forget the powerful P70 processor.

If you don’t care for 4k video recording or won’t be taking any low light selfies then this phone is for you.
